Cruise from Seattle to Alaska aboard the Carnival Miracle July 1 - 8, 2014
Cabin 7299
DW and I arrived in Seattle a few days early before the cruise and stayed at the Hampton Inn on 28th street real close to SeaTac airport. I had booked the room months earlier with an internet special and paid for 3 nights in advance to get the best price. Upon arrival at the airport, we went outside where the ...
I have always dreamed of going to Alaska. It was suppose to be my dream cruise. I'm sorry I spent my once in a lifetime chance on visiting Alaska with Carnival. Although the ship was clean and the staff excellent, that is where the positive ends.
I did not know till after the cruise began that they had canceled stopping in Ketchikan. We spent more time at sea than on land. The three stops we made ...
Alaska was beautiful. We were blessed with great weather and plenty of wildlife. The ship was kept very clean and the crew was great. The room was comfortable.
The food, especially in the main diniing room was sub-par. I would have been better to stick with the deli at the lido deck. I don't expect that much from a tuna sandwhich. Order 2 starters , 2 main entree's etc at dinner as probably only ...
Lets start off by saying this was our first cruise, and there will be more in our future. You see I'm a 5x Cancer survivor and currently in the fight for my life again. To say I had an awesome time would be an understatement.
Not only did we enjoy the food, the shows, particularly The Marriage Show and Johns morning show, we enjoyed just kicking back on the balcony watching the wildlife and the ...
Dream to see Alaska wasn't the thrill I expected. Our room was great as we opted to get a balcony. I would have hated my room if it didn't have that feature. But if you are a a light sleeper don't stay on the 8th floor, lido deck is noisy 24-7, which is right above you.
Ship staff was great. Food was fair. Nothing over the top. Lots of lectures to try and get more money from you. Live shows were ...
This was the second cruise for me and my husband. Our first sailing was aboard the Magic to the Caribbean when she was brand new. This cruise had a different feel to it, and we loved it. Miracle is a smaller ship, the passengers are a little older than the Caribbean crowd, and the weather is cooler, so the deck life is more laid back.
This was an anniversary cruise for us. We flew from Arkansas ...
We had 3 days in Seattle which was nice, warm weather, and everything was within walking distance. It was a good workout before the cruise...lots of hills.
Seattle terminal was so easy, had a shuttle drop us off around 12, dropped luggage off outside, and proceeded to walk basically right to the boat. Our check in lady (Grandmother type) was awesome and very nice---and got through our party of 6 ...
Took our grandson on Miracle's Alaskan cruise..7 days out of Seattle..July 8-15, 2014. We generally cruise 3-4 times per year and have wanted to try the Alaska trip especially if we could take our grandson on his first cruise! We have sailed different lines, including other Carnival ships, Princess and otheres. Chose Miracle due to itinerary, departure date/location and price. We were not ...
We are experienced cruisers with 24 cruises between us, so this review is coming from people who are pretty easy to please and really enjoy cruising. I rely on these reviews before I book and so hope this is helpful for you as well. First of all, the ship is beautiful, getting on and off was a breeze, and generally everything was very good. Here are the exceptional items: Alaska was absolutely ...
I am limited walking and partial vision person. I got great help with embarkation and disembarkation.
I had been to Alaska 3 times already so I knew what to expect in Alaska.
I had a balcony and enjoyed the view at time but at times the fog would show up and none of us could see the beauty of the outdoor mountains and trees.
I had a good time on the ship meeting lots of fun people. It rained in ...
