"We chose this cruise because we had always wanted to go through the Panama Canal. We only could take two weeks off from work, so this was the cruise we chose.

We chose a aft balcony to come through the canal, hoping to enjoy the many sea days on the balcony and de-stress, relax and enjoy the break of the daily work grind. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN! The March 5 repositioning was excellent from Miami to the Miracle's new home (we hope) in San Francisco. Although there was some concern about the novel coronavirus, it was the best ship in the world to sail on. This was our second cruise on the Miracle. The last one was in 2015. We have been on 13 cruises. 5 cruises with Carnival. Poor maintenance shows all over this rusty old tub.

Cruised with my 20 YO Granddaughter. Had a great time despite having very few younger people on the ship. First time to Panama Canal. Tampa embarkation is a little more difficult to me having to park across the street but ok. Got right on the ship. The only the enjoyable thing on this cruise were the fellow passengers.
Staff: Unless they were working for extra tips at the bar or trying to sell you something, they looked and acted miserable. Some practically falling over tired.

Pre-cruise: We flew in the day before and stayed at the Courtyard Tampa downtown. Our stay was excellent and I would highly recommend.
Embarkation was quick and painless. We had 11:30 to 12:00 check in time. We arrived right about 11:30 and were onboard shortly after noon. We didn't have to even sit in the terminal to wait.
