The words "jump ship" became a reality when we found ourselves with no other recourse but to leave the Norwegian Epic after only 7 days of an 12 day cruise.

I sailed from Barcelona on Feb 24, 2016. My original itinerary was to be east to Italian ports, but NCL changed the itinerary to the west, Canary Islands, etc. Big, big disaster for me, with air from the US and a room in Barcelona booked I was locked in. So, first lesson learned, I will never book a cruise to go to a specific place.

We booked a Mini Suite.In this mini suite no bathroom but a toilet and bath which were separated from the rest of the cabin by a curtain. Behind this curtain a cabinet with a sink in a size of a big soup bowl. In the cabin plenty of closet space, but we missed a bathroom separated from the rest. The check-in was very slow. To start positively we enjoyed the shows you provided as we were lucky enough to find out to book our seats for Priscilla, Burn the floor and Soul Sensation early on. After this the ship and its crew failed to impress us seasoned cruisers in our party of 6.

On a negative here sadly.
My wife and I have done 20 plus cruises and this was our first NCL , it will likely be our last with these folks , sadly.
We booked a mini suite which seemed identical to our friends standard balcony, perhaps a slight oversell but I could live with that.
The complimentary drinks package was appealing but bottles of water were excluded as were coffees????

This was our 3rd and final cruise on NCL. We never dreamed our10 day cruse could be so disappointing. Our prior 2 cruises were wonderful and relaxing.

This was the worse ship we have ever been on. We cruise twice a year, mostly Celebrity, Princess, but we also like to try new ships. In this situation what was supposed to be celebration of our 40 year anniversary, but it was the biggest FIASCO instead.

We cruised on this ship in December 2015. The ship itself was very clean and well maintained if somewhat flamboyant in the decor, still everyone's taste is different.

It had been a few years between sailings and this past cruise was a hugh disappointment in almost every respect. Only the Indonesian staff have keep the high quality. The food was sub-par.
