We chose this cruise for its itinerary. We explored Barcelona for the day before embarking. We arrived at the terminal around 1230pm and found the embarkation process to be smooth. There was a lot of staff there to help and guide passengers. Although our room wasn't completely available, we were allowed to drop off our bags. We appreciated that! This differed from my experience on the Carnival ...
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. The ship was a bit different then other NCL ships I have been on. This one has both the main dinning room and the Theater in the aft of the ship. When you entered the theater, you entered in the front, different, but not bad at all. We attended most of the shows and they were very well done. The NCL band is outstanding, as well as the singers and ...
We chose this cruise because of all the stops. It was a great experience! And the cruise staff make your stay super enjoyable!
We loved our waiters in Windows, Dheeraj and René. Their service was excellent, they are great together! Definitely our “On board heros”. The time me and my husband spent dining at Windows was on of the highlights of our day, getting to eat good food, served by such ...
We had never been to Spain so we chose this cruise. It did not disappoint. The weather the scenery the people were all amazing. The boat is older but if you are looking for excursions at every stop this will not disappoint you. Not a lot to do on the boat itself but the food is wonderful and the staff even better. We stayed in the owners suite and it was perfect. The butler Rey was over the top ...
we were interested in seeing these ports, most of which we had never seen before, and it was a great experience travelling with dear friends once again.
we had some issues on the flight to Barcelona, a gentleman passenger had a heart attack and we had to turn back to Heathrow in London which then kept us from making the rest of our connecting flights. Due to this delay, we were not able to ...
We chose our cruise to Canary Islands through Wingbuddy Travel, on line, with free air fare, beverage package & gratuities. Everything went as promised, we didn’t have to pay anything extra! The NCL Spirit is a well run ship, our cabin with balcony was clean & Henry, our room Stewart, was friendly & pleasant. He kept our cabin neat & clean and looked after every detail. Complimentary dining at ...
10 day cruise starting from Barcelona to Morocco and Canary Islands. We stayed one night in Barcelona before boarding ship. Embarkation was quick. We booked an inside cabin because of price and got upgraded through NCL auction to ocean view cabin. Went to Imperial Rabat in Morocco; climbed 3rd largest volcano in the world in Tenerife; took cable car to Monte on Madeira (Portugal) and then had ...
I had most recently cruised on NCL Epic and Breakaway (which are much larger newer ships with outstanding entertainment) so my very first impression upon boarding was that the Spirit was old, tired, and had a confusing layout requiring you to go up or down to get to main dining room or theatre. Over the 10 days I came to love the smaller size, more personal experience with smaller size ship. ...
This was an 11 day cruise to the Canary Islands and Madeira out of Barcelona with other stops in Casablanca and Spain. We were a group of 5 family members over the age of 60. My wife and I have 26 cruises with this our 6th on NCL. Overall we really liked the ship and the itinerary. We splurged and bought a suite in the rear of the ship and greatly enjoyed the perks and added benefits. The ...
Embarkation went very smoothly. Found the ship very disabled friendly, was nowhere my partner couldn’t go ( he’s a full time wheelchair user) We booked a disabled inner porthole cabin 4498. What can I say, it was massive, wetroom was large all very wheelchair friendly. It was near the lifts too, perfect!!
Dining.. tried the Italian restaurant (paid extra) for our friends 60th birthday.. was ...
