We like Viking because when we check out at the end of the cruise we don't have a huge bill to pay for wine, sodas, bottled water, spa, laundry and shore excursions. The ship is light and bright and cheery. We'll layed out and functional. All cabins have a balcony and a shower instead of a bathtub... which we prefer. Having sailed with Viking before on rivers and the ocean, we were interested in the destinations for this cruise. We were very disappointed to learn we would not visit Kotor as scheduled and our tours in Venice were also cancelled because of fog. Brand new ship on its second trip. Beautiful ship and very comfortable. The staff was new to the ship and many were new to their jobs but they worked very hard to make the trip pleasant. Overall our party of 4 were very pleased with the staff, most of whom were either from the Phillipines or China.
