Princess Cruises' Newest Ship Debuts in Southampton
(10:57 a.m. EDT) -- Princess' Cruises first new cruise ship since Ruby Princess, Royal Princess debuted in Southampton today. It will be officially christened June 13 by Princess Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge. Royal Princess' arrival was accompanied by a rendition of God Save the Queen performed by the Southampton University Brass Band. The ship responded in musical kind as it played the first notes of the theme song from the TV show "The Love Boat."

The 3,600-passenger Royal Princess introduces several new features including the SeaWalk, a top-deck glass-bottomed walkway extending 28 feet over the edge of the ship; private poolside cabanas that appear to float on water; and Princess' largest television studio at sea Princess Live!
