Princess is offering a new take on the ever-evolving trend of “auto-gratuities” by expanding the option beyond the dining room wait staff to also include cabin stewards. The auto-fee, charged to each passenger’s shipboard account, is $10 (per person) per day.
Want to tip your own way? Traditionalists who prefer to present onboard service staffers with that nifty little white envelope full-of-cash still can -- they just have to alert the front desk.
