Oasis' Sister Allure to Debut Second Broadway Show for Cruise Line
(3:32 p.m. EDT) -- Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas -- the sister ship of Oasis of the Seas -- is set to debut this fall, and while it will share most of the features of its slightly older sibling, fresh new details are starting to emerge.

The cruise line announced today that like its big sister, Allure of the Seas will offer a huge array of entertainment options including the Broadway production, "Chicago: The Musical," as the headlining show in the ship's main theater.

The show will be the second Tony Award-winning production debuted at sea by Royal Caribbean, following in the footsteps of a continuing and successful run of "Hairspray," onboard Oasis of the Seas.

The 1,380-seat Amber Theater will host the production, which will be a shortened, 90-minute version of the original Broadway musical. Another Amber Theater production will be a show entitled "Blue Planet" -- featuring music, dance and aerial acrobatics. The cruise line plans to bring back productions of "OceanAria" in the AquaTheater and the ice show in Studio B. Of course, passengers will find parades, musical performances and comedy shows throughout the ship's seven themed neighborhoods, but further details have not yet been released.

We'll be sure to fill you in as more details come in.
