Oasis: Seven Neighborhoods, Seven Godmothers, Seven Prizes to Win!
Oasis of the Seas Godmothers Royal Caribbean has finally revealed the identities of the seven lucky women who will serve as godmothers to the largest cruise ship in the world. In a Twitter-based reveal that started at 9 a.m. this morning, the cruise line announced one godmother per hour, keeping Oasis of the Seas fans and Cruise Critic members waiting in breathless anticipation. (OK, maybe we're exaggerating a bit -- but we are always excited to get new Oasis info!)

As the day comes to a close, we now have the names of all seven godmoms -- one for each of the ship's seven neighborhoods. They are:

Singer Gloria Estefan
Olympic figure skater Michelle Kwan
Actress Jane Seymour
Olympic swimmer Dara Torres
Actress Keisha Knight Pulliam
Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson
Television personality Daisy Fuentes

(Be sure to tell us your favorite -- and least favorite -- pick. Vote in our poll!)

To further keep us in suspense, Royal Caribbean will assign each godmother a specific neighborhood to "christen" -- but won't announce the pairings until the official naming ceremony on November 30. Already, speculation is rampant on the Cruise Critic message boards about why these particular seven women were chosen.

We'd like to take the speculation one step further. Play our match-up game on the Cruise Critic Message Boards and tell us which godmother should be associated with which neighborhood (choices are Central Park, Boardwalk, the Royal Promenade, Pool & Sports Zone, Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center, Entertainment Place, and Youth Zone). Once we know how Royal Caribbean matches them up, we'll send a prize to each of seven lucky winners chosen at random from among the correct entries.
