| Hurricane in Pacific |
| At this point, hurricane-action is largely taking place in the Pacific; cruisers planning Mexican Riviera voyages should keep an eye on Hurricane Juliette. While still well offshore, as of 8:30 p.m. Monday, she boasted winds of 145 m.p.h. which makes her a category 4 storm. It’s possible -- although not necessarily probable as storms are predictable only in just how unpredictable they are -- Juliette could impact travel to ports like Puerto Vallarta; a hurricane watch and tropical storm warning are in effect from Mexico’s Cabo Corrienta to Lazaro Cardenas. | |
