Tropical Storm Ivo Impacts Mexican Riviera Cruises

September 21, 2007
Tropical Storm Ivo, which was a Category One hurricane yesterday but has weakened slightly, is headed toward the Baja California peninsula and will make landfall just north of Cabo San Lucas on Monday morning, September 24.

Although there are strong winds at this time, we have not heard from Princess Cruises as to Island Princess's call Saturday at Cabo San Lucas. Carnival Elation, which departs San Diego tomorrow, is switching its itinerary to call at Ensenada first and Cabo on Tuesday after the storm has passed.

No other ships are affected at this time. As always, if anything changes, we'll keep you posted.
