Royal Caribbean Sets New Orleans Return Date
Royal Caribbean will definitely be heading back to the Big Easy -- though it won't happen until over a year from now.

The cruise line has announced plans to bring Grandeur of the Seas back to New Orleans on December 2, 2006 to resume its previously scheduled seven-night Western Caribbean sailings. Until then, the ship will continue to sail four- and five-night Western Caribbean itineraries from its temporary home of Tampa through May of 2006 before relocating to Baltimore for the summer season.

Royal Caribbean was the last to announce that its planned New Orleans winter cruising schedule had been canceled; other lines that have been forced to find new housing for ships based out of the hurricane-battered Gulf Coast include NCL and Carnival.
