We were a group of 8, 2 sets of grandparents, and a young family who have all sailed many times before with Carnival. The kids chose to sail on the newest ship. We were all on deck 1 in three different cabins. The ship is new and huge, but the public areas felt small. Be prepared to wait 30-90 minutes to use some of the things like water slides, rope course, or sky bikes. I've never had such a ...
We sailed on the 2/5 cruise on a back-to-back starting with a Havana cabin then moving to a regular cabin for this sailing, and it's like two different ships. With Havana, you basically have your own private pool shared with just a few other passengers, and two (!) large hot tubs that are rarely busy. When you're back in "general population" as we referred to it, you get to share two pools that ...
We're cruised 5 times on Carnival and 10 times between NCL RCL & Princess we choosed carnival Vista because it's brand new ship so we had a high expectation but really disappointed the service in the dining room Horizon was Ok but the FOODs was terribly horrible we heard the chef director is from India I'm so sorry in my 15 times cruising this is the first time I had a bad experienced eating ...
We choose this cruise because we like to experience a brand new cruise ship. Also because among the destinations there were some ports of call that we have not visited before. In addition, this was the first cruise for my 4 years old son, and Carnival Vista is a great option for family.
The embarkation and disembarkation were smooth.
The cabins feels smaller than other Carnival o RC, but ...
Chose this cruise because of the itinerary and wanted to sail on the Carnival Vista. Embarkation went smoothly. Liked having key cards at the mailbox by the cabin door. We had a Havana Suite. The room was spacious and divided between the bedroom and living area and nicely appointed. The bathroom was the nicest one we've had on a Carnival cruise. Two sinks, a shower with a seat and a few nice ...
My son picked this for 4 couples since it was new. The public rooms casino, show room ect. were to small for the amount of people. Not a disabled friendly ship. Halls everything reduced to have more cabins. Ship was not very clean. Will not go on this ship again. I am a platinum cruiser everyone I talked to was dissatisfied with this ship and said they wouldn't go on it again. All the small ...
I'm sure the cruise business is a tough one, and they need to make a buck where they can, but this ship is in need of a month or two in drydock to deal with some issues.
#1 on my list would be air quality. Everyone I talked to was suffering from "cruise crud", basically lingering congestion in the lungs. I think the problem is mold spores, as my spotless shower turned black with mildew within 2 ...
We chose this cruise because it was a new ship and we used to love carnival. We have not been on a cruise for several years because we built a cabin in the mountains and were spending our vacations there for a while. We remembered how we were waited on and pampered and the wonderful food and just how relaxed we were after cruising the more than 2 dozen cruises we went on....so, we thought it was ...
I had the hub app and within 8 seconds of it turning too "zero" we were headed up the escalators, getting photos done and walking the gangway to the ship! Very accurate I'd say!
Pinch me was my favourite line for 3 days, I couldn't believe I was going to sail! What an incredible journey for us and one of the best holidays we have had!
The ship is huge and I have no other to compare it ...
My wife and I sailed on the Carnival Vista in February 2017, so I'm just getting this review in before the 1 year cut off. It was our 5th cruise overall (Valor, Inspiration, Dream, and Breeze previously).
Embarkation was smooth and very quick. We flew into Miami International Airport and after picking up our luggage, we headed over to the Carnival desk at the airport for easy check-in. We took ...
