I'm sure the cruise business is a tough one, and they need to make a buck where they can, but this ship is in need of a month or two in drydock to deal with some issues.

#1 on my list would be air quality. Everyone I talked to was suffering from "cruise crud", basically lingering congestion in the lungs. I think the problem is mold spores, as my spotless shower turned black with mildew within 2 days (which did not get cleaned during the whole week). If a health and safety inspector is reading this, take some measurement of spore counts, I'm sure it's off the scale. They need to disinfect everything, change out the carpets and install/upgrade all ventilation systems including hepa filters. Bring allergy medicine and cough drops.

Walking around, you occasionally hit little pockets of sewage smell too (6th floor mid-ship elevator lobby, for example). That can't be good.
