This a hopefully not to long but informative take on our curise. This is my 20th cruise overall and my 6th with Carnival.

We sailed on 9/17/16 from long Beach. This was the 11th cruise for my wife and I together, 5th on Carnival. We have sailed Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Princess and HAL. whilst we had a really great time, this ship shows it's age although it is spotlessly clean and well maintained and the demographic is young and fun.
We loved the pool deck, with lots of high energy entertainment.
The thing I missed most on this ship was a really beautiful central atrium, something a bit gorgeous, as there has been on all the other ships we have sailed on.

Have Cruised with Carnival 27 times and we like the Spirit class ships. They do not seem as crowded as some of the Larger ships. Always have had great service. Been to the ports many times, so we just love relaxing on the ship.Plenty of room in our Cabin (6279). and lots of Closet and Drawer space.We do not always eat in the dining room, so this helps to pack lighter. We had a family of four adults in a balcony (8J) cabin. My husband and i have been on many Carnival cruises but the food was so bad in the lido this trip that we are saying no more Carnival unless it has Guys and Blue Iguana to make lunch enjoyable.

Scheduling was a big factor. This was a last minute trip with a friend and this trip was one of few that was available.

Miracle is a pretty standard ship for mid-sized ones, but the Bacchus dining room is spectacular - laden with purple globes to represent the wine god.
Room are standard, straightforward.
