Have Cruised with Carnival 27 times and we like the Spirit class ships. They do not seem as crowded as some of the Larger ships. Always have had great service. Been to the ports many times, so we just love relaxing on the ship.Plenty of room in our Cabin (6279). and lots of Closet and Drawer space. We do not always eat in the dining room, so this helps to pack lighter. There is always different choices of food to eat. Either the Buffet for Dinner or Just Deli sandwich or Pizza. In the evening we spend time in the Casino, and try to catch the entertainment in the Lounge 3 or 4 nights. Embarkation and debarkation from Long Beach has always been easy for us. Since I am a smoker , I did like the area on Deck 9 ,Lido Starboard side at the front of the ship with the Tables.
