Elegantly efficient and compact, but plenty of room for bags, clothes and accumulating 'stuff.' With the right mix of adapters, we were able to power/recharge our toys (laptop computer, cell phone/cameras, etc.) without contention. After initial resets, we were able to use the TV for multiple movies, live camera shots and background music. The bed was very comfortable and I avoided back pain often induced by hotel beds. Both cabins in Viking Lif and Aegir were well maintained by the cabin steward. We were amazed at what could be done with a room of that size....loved the warm floors in the bathroom and the glass enclosed shower. All of the bath products were great too....kept us well stocked. I would highly recommend a french balcony....great for the price and wonderful to open for fresh air.....all you really need. Read Less

Cabins are small but well thought out. French balcony rooms are wonderful, especially in the evening. Lots of room under the bed for suitcases. Heated floor in bathroom was great!

Next time we would book earlier. I will say that after our last river cruise on the smaller ship we thought the bathroom was very difficult to manage, but the long ship bathroom and shower are very nice. Read Less

The cabin was small, but very functional. There was a place for everything. The bathroom was great; even had a glass shower door and heated floors! Always clean and sparkling....home away from home feeling.

Very tight glad my wife lost 20 pounds before the trip. Shower could have been wider. Would hsve been nice to have a chair to sit in to put your shoes on.

A comfortable, well-designed cabin. It was quiet and there was enough room for us to unpack 15 days worth of clothes. The bathroom was well-appointed with a large shower and great water pressure.
