Outside Twin with Balcony and Shower Cabin Reviews
excellent, we had a great view of the whole ship and the sea. great photos with the sunset from I PHONE 6. cabin was spacious but the toilets didn't flush in the whole stern cabins of the ship but the problem was dealt with nicely and easily. Read entire member review >>
Comfortable cabin which was very quiet, balcony not overlooked and the bathroom was small but perfectly acceptable. We didn't like the large pack of 6 water bottles that were left in the cabin for us to purchase, they took up too much room and just got in the way. We had the beds arranged as a double (Queen) and we both slept very well as the beds are big and comfortable. The television was small and very slow in loading, it seems a shame the choice of programmes are so limited and it would be nice if the films were free rather than try and get even more money out of us. The small dressing area was big enough for us both to use at the same time, the hangers do bang a bit when the sea is rough but this was only on our last night when we had packed so the hangers were bare. The cabin was really not any smaller than a hotel room apart from the fact the wardrobe had no door which made the space more economical. We had plenty of space to put our clothes away.
The cabin's balcony on C deck or deck 10 was the largest balcony you could have and it was partially covered so you could sit out without being overlooked. We used it regularly and it was particularly good for taking in the sights going into Lisbon port.
Beds were a bit hard but that's personal preference, I still got a reasonable night's sleep. Other amenities were free shower gel and shampoo, UK power sockets for charging phones etc, shaver socket in the bathroom, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities with a kettle. The TV was okay, nothing special but it was good to use for the purpose of watching films and checking the ship's location, your on board spending account etc.
Our cabin steward Rajesh was really nice and he kept our cabin spic and span, with a make up and a turn down service. Read entire member review >>
We were given cabin C518 with the extended balcony, couldn't fault the cabin, the location or our steward Merton he was courteous, professional and discreet. A good central location, If your reasonably active you can use the stairs to get anywhere. Read entire member review >>
P204 Nice room, fantastic bed, room maid fantastic. This room is right at the front of the boat you do get a little sea noise but hey your on a ship! When docking in harbour the rope winches sound right above you so they are noisy and act as an alarm clock also the anchor when mooring off shore for tendering in has the same effect! But all in all this wasn't a problem for me as I like to be up when entering a new port. Read entire member review >>
C deck cabins have the largest balconies. The cabin was quiet, well equipped, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space for our cases, clothes and enough hangers. The shower room was small but adequate. Read entire member review >>
We had an accessible balcony cabin on Riviera deck identical in all respects to the one we had on Azura last August. The facilities and layout of these cabins are excellent, the only additional item we had requested was a shower chair, which my wife uses at the washbasin, otherwise everything was provided, plenty of grab handles in the bathroom and a drop down shower stool. The extra space these cabins provide make it easy to manoeuvre a wheelchair, this is very useful especially in rough seas when my wife finds it impossible to walk around the cabin. Our cabin steward was as usual very efficient and provided any little extras that we requested. These cabins are adjacent to the forward lifts but there was absolutely no noise from the lifts, and to be honest very little noise from passing passengers either. Read entire member review >>
Cabin C742 - Quiet location but close to the lifts. Larger than average semi-private, part sheltered, balcony. Comfortable beds. Adequate bathroom. Spacious clothes hanging area. Free safe. Read entire member review >>
