We really enjoyed the staff and meals, and the extra help the crew supplied due to my sister-in-laws limited mobility. Hurtigruten and the Roald Amundsen far exceeded our expectations. First, the Alaska coast takes your breath away and the ability for the Amundsen to navigate in to excluded fjords and bays was amazing. This expeditionary cruise is superb following the most spectacular coastal scenery. The ship is very new and the right size for this type of voyage. This was our first expedition cruise with Hurtigruten. The welcome on board was amazing and the staff were all so professional.
