My sister celebrated her 71st Birthday on the ship - the cabin team helped make her day extremely memorable! We were all "over the moon" surprised! Never been on a Cruise line that went to this extent before!!! Well done Oceania!

Background Info This was a very special cruise for us; we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, which obviously puts us in the age group where you celebrate one of those :) This was the longest cruise we've ever sailed plus our first on Oceania. I, however, have sailed many many times before on many different cruise lines. Hubby has only been on a handful of cruises. Disclaimer: ...

Just stepped off the Marina earlier today following 12 days of sheer gastronomic bliss and enough eye candy to fill a lifetime of photo albums. Without previous cruising experience, it was hard to imagine any cruise line meeting, never mind exceeding my expectations. After THOROUGH research comparing Oceania, Seabourn and the Celebrity Solstice class ships, the $/day rates, multiple dining venues, ...

As first-time cruisers, we chose a ship and line recommended by friends. The Marina is a new ship with penthouses that seemed to offer plenty of room, so we chose that. Our stateroom was large and very comfortable, with a big verandah and two desk spaces on a counter that stretched the length of the room. It also had a huge walk-in closet and very well designed, large bathroom. Our only regret ...

I planned this cruise one year prior to our departure. I saw the add in the Register travel section and thought it would be great to cruise on a new ship. We started in Rome for 4 nights and stayed at a very nice small hotel called the Mascagni near the train station. We decided to take the train to the port and it was very easy and very affordable. I booked an inside room because we would be ...

Our first experience with Oceania was at the Insignia. Then we missed the main attraction of the journey and the officers did not tell the truth about the reasons. See the review.Nevertheless we decided to try this company once more. This time a 10-day cruise in the Mediterranean. This time even 2 ports were canceled because of so called "swells". Again doubts if this was really necessary. We made ...
