We wanted an early spring cruise to visit the Canaries where we have been several times before. Been on Ventura the sister ship but Azura is not the same level of ship. Water damage to buffet ceiling tiles, which were not replaced with new, just replaced. The tiles were disgusting. In the buffet area we noted large holes in the carpet under the chairs. Carpet in corridors deck 8 needed ...
We chose this cruise because of the ports of call which where very good.
Sailed from Southampton very efficient unfortunately gale force 8 around the Bay of Biscay so sea sick for 24hrs.
On the Tuesday sun came out and all settled down. The ship showed the film AP McCoy on the sea screen lots of moaning I thought it was very good.
The ship was top heavy with age 70 plus and disabled but ...
This was a special once in a lifetime cruise for all the family, six adults and four children, this was my husbands and I tenth cruise and fourth with p and o and it was so very disappointing. It is five years since we last cruised on Azura and we noticed straight away, the staff cut backs, the cleaning cut backs, the finesse and class that it used to have and this was before the remainder of ...
First cruise for myself, husband, teenage son and ten year old daughter. Arrived for embarkation early and our car was promptly taken for parking and had a very smooth check in. In our cabin by 1.30 and our luggage arrived an hour later apart from a small case which came later. Our cabin steward introduced herself and was friendly and helpful throughout our cruise.
Registered the children ...
This is our fifth cruise.
This is our first P and O cruise
Chose this cruise for the ports of call as we had never been to the Canaries before.
I've tried to give you an overview of our cruise but obviously everyone is different and what I find unacceptable other may not...

We had never been on a cruise to the Canary Islands and this cruise met our requirements for a brief escape and to celebrate a birthday.
We had not been on Azura before, however the ship was very nice and the service on board was excellent.
The only downside for us was the limited space in the Atrium for dancing.
Highlights:
1. A meal in the Epicurrean restaurant under the stars, ...
Had priority embarkation due to disability, which went very well.
Had a balcony cabin on deck 11.Had a excellent steward called Nazareth,he kept the cabin very clean, and was very pleasant and helpful. The cabin size was good but the shower cubicle was small. Good supply of toiletries. The balcony was ok but not very big. However,it was lovely to sit out and have a few drinks!
Our luggage ...

After reading the recent reviews stating how amazing this ship is, I could not sit back and not give my opinion. As a 22 year old female on my first cruise with my Mother who has done several beforehand I have to say that I did not enjoy this ship.
Firstly I know that P&O cannot screen passengers before they book the cruise, however I have never seen so many leather skinned, cigarette smoking, ...
After reading some very poor reviews for this ship,I will try to be objective in this report.
Embarkation was smooth and easy but then it took over three hours to have our cases delivered to our cabin, only then after the cabin steward offered to seek out them for us.
We booked first sitting in the Oriental restaurant, the service we received there was second to none, the same applied to our ...
