1-10 of 37 MSC Poesia Cruise Reviews for Cruises for the Disabled Cruises to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean
This ship seemed to have a primarily European clientele. However, being American was not a detriment. Every staff person that we approached for whatever reason, spoke English. All messages were announced in English (as well as many other languages). The staff on board were exceptionally courteous. The ship was impeccably clean and any minor issues that we needed assistance with were handled ...
having done 23 other cruises this was the worst one,and one of the most expensive,
tha cabin was very good, clean and comfortable, the public rooms were nice and good service, but thats were it stops, the 2 bars with entertainment was very poor, very armaturish, the shows well thery were terrible not worth watching,i felt embarased to watch them.moveing on to the food its was like hospital ...
I choosed this cruise to discover the greek islands !!
Because, last year we visited "Fjords" MSC Música. It was our honey moon, and it was Perfect !!!
this time, we decided to visit the coast, and enjoy summer days with our lillte baby 8 mouths. Everything was niced, each port, unless Saranda !!! Not nice at all !!!! poor people who wanted to touch our bags, our children, awful beaches, ...
We chose this cruise/ship because of the itinerary and cost. Overall it was fairly good cost wise (you get what you pay for!) but in hindsight I'd save up a bit more money and opt for another cruise line. We have sailed with Cunard and NCL previously; MSC was a major disappointment compared to either of those operators.
The pros:-
The triple room balcony was a good size and the sofa bed ...
Worst cruise out of 7 that we have been. We'll start with the food in the restaurant 1/ Black hair in the food on 1st night (for the wife),2/ Black hair in the food again a couple of nights later(for the wife).3/Chicken not cooked PINK in the middle-No,No!! 4/ food cold a lot of the time had to send it back often. 5/Appetiser-lamb skewer cold-sent it back. 6/Veal shank 2 small pieces of meat in ...
Getting to the ship was laborious no pick up or shuttle services. At the buffet on the first day there were Italian foodstuffs presented in the display cabinets(salamis, cheeses, anti-pasto etc.) but after that no sign of them just the ordinary three cheeses and sliced/cold meats! In fact nearly all the meals presented to us in the main restaurant were sliced roast meat no matter what fancy name ...
This was my first real cruise trip so was pleasantly surprised how good it was . Firstly the whole check in and out process works really well considering the number of passengers. The airport is used to the sort of numbers so it all flows very well from there until you eventually get to your room (which was ready as soon as we boarded ) The ships interior was modern and quite flashy It had lots of ...
This was my 2nd cruise on MSC, the 1st being last Christmas on Armonia, and as my title says, it's getting better and better. The ship is very luxurious and more comfortable than what is usual on cruise ships. My cabin was roomy and fully adequate for single occupancy but I shudder to think of two people in it and the balcony was a bit on the small side, again only adequate for a single person. ...
I am not very picky when travelling, but this time I have to say something about it! I had read the less than stellar reviews given to the cruise line and to its ship Poesia. I blamed the low ratings to American tourists who are not used to the European ways. I was mistaken.
The best things of the cruise were the cabin (we were on a suite on the 15th. floor), the cabin steward who was ...
It is the best option for traveling with children. Children travel for free. There are fun activities for them: The swimming pool, board games, the theater ... The cities where we disembarked were fantastic, especially Venice, Olympia, Izmir, Istanbul and Dubrovnik. The boat is very big and beautiful. It has fifteen floors, two swimming pools and several dining rooms. The crew was very friendly and ...
