They are always ready to help. We had so many choices, exceeded our ...
This was our third cruise with MSC. We'd recently completed a 3 night cruise on Virtuosa, so when boarding The Grandiosa we already knew the ship's layout which saved time.
The ship itself is absolutely stunning. Although it's nearly identical to Virtuosa the colours are different, and in my opinion I thought overall it looked grander.

We chose MSC due to the price and the itinerary, which had a lot of ports we wanted to visit. Having read some of the other reviews I was pleasantly surprised to not experience most of the things everyone seems to moan about.
The service from the stewards, restaurant and bar staff was great, they were very friendly and helpful. The guy serving us in Purple Crab was particularly nice. The only ...
This cruise was originally booked for April 2021 but had to be moved to September and then April 2022 due to covid. MSC were very strict on covid regulations which was reassuring. Embarkation was a bit hectic, there was no one to tell us where the Yacht Club area for boarding was. Eventually we got to our cabin which was not the one I booked.
The best part of the yacht club is the dining ...
This is our third cruise on MSC including a trip in yacht club prior to this cruise around the Mediterranean. We flew into wonderful BCN and the cruise port is a very short cab ride to the terminal. Embarkation was long but met expectations due to the many COVID hoops to jump through and documents to check. Once onboard we went to our balcony cabin on deck 13 which was much smaller than expected. ...
MSC was one of the few options for a Mediterranean cruise this time of year and during the pandemic. We were grateful to be able to go, and at a reasonable price. We knew it would not have all of the "wow" factor because of health and regulatory restrictions, but the staff made up for that, especially the team in the Purple Crab. They focused on what they could control, providing the best ...
We went on a cruise with port of call ; Barcelona, Marseille,Genua Cvitecchia, Palermo en La Valetta. There's a lot of activities on the ship what you can do in a short time. I want to recommend people who want to go on this cruise the restaurant "Purple Crab" where the most waiters has the same background of my mothers side and they give us a warm welkom.Thank you guys!!!!They give the best ...
This was our 5th MSC cruise and 3rd in Yacht Club (we have taken 30+ cruises from Carnival to Regent and a suite on the QE2). The prior 4 were out of Miami therefore we are not sure which differences were COVID-related and which relate to the different ship or location. Booking this cruise was a "roll of the dice" after three prior cancellations. We were not sure that it would actually take place ...
We did a week on Grandiosa from Genoa to Malta and back on 25/10.
It was great, we felt really safe and looked after. We covid tested 3 days before departure at home then again on the day of departure (MSC's test in port) and again 3 days before disembarking. Gel was everywhere as were good handwashing stations which we were made to use before all meals. We wore masks everywhere except at ...
I went on this cruise with my daughter and her two little boys, aged 4 and 6. We chose it because it matched the boy’s half term dates. The ship looked enormous, I really doubted it would be ‘for me’. With the corona virus our passports were examined, page by page, to ensure we hadn’t visited a China or Asia and our temperatures taken. We also had to answer health questions. The boarding ...
