My husband took our first cruise on the Destiny and it went okay. Embarkation went pretty well. From the time we got to the terminal until we got on the ship it was around 2 hours. The first few hours on the ship were stressful because we didn't know where to go exactly and there were long lines everywhere around the food and we weren't sure what line to get into. Things weren't identified very well. We didn't get our bags delivered to our room until after 6pm, but that was no big deal.

Here are the pros:

The food was excellent. We had dinner every night in the Galaxy dining room and it was wonderful. The service was also excellent. We did the anytime dining, but we still got to sit at the same table every night and had the same waiter, Richard, who did an awesome job. I thought the food at the buffet on the lido deck was also very good.
