This is my 3rd cruise on the Disney Wonder and I thought it might be helpful to list a few things that I noticed were different or just noticed this time since our last cruise last February when I also wrote a review.

We arrived at the port by car again about 11:30am. The main parking garage is still not finished across the street. This time instead of paying ahead of time you pay when you leave (still $15.00 per day tax included). You can drop off your luggage, have one person collect the passports and begin the check-in process while you park. That being said, the line was very short for both new and returning cruisers. They take your picture when you check-in at the counter.

We were boarding group #6 and were on the ship by noon. We booked a comparatively inexpensive inside cabin,($399. pp plus port fees) Cat 11, deck 6, cabin 6015 which is a sideways cabin and was slightly roomier than our last Cat 11. We booked online for an extra $25 obc and $50 obc using the Disney Visa card, so this took care of our tips at the end. The ship was full as it was Veteran's Day weekend, but we never really felt crowded. In the past our lifeboat drills have been inside on Disney, but this time we had the traditional line up outside in a row in front of your lifeboat. It didn't last too long, though.

Cabin Review

Standard Inside Stateroom

Cabin 11B

Cabin 6015, inside forward port side is spacious for a cat 11 as it is sideways. There is plenty of storage room (large closet, many drawers, and a "sea chest")and many coat hangers. The room has an in-room cooler and clock with alarm capability on back (but dials do not light up in dark. The bathroom has a half tub, and very nice soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion are provided. The location is high enough to be away from bars and public areas and quiet. I brought a tiny flashlight for getting up at night as it is very dark inside, but a nightlight might work well, too. There is a pullout sofa and height adjustable coffee table in front of it. The LCD HD tv is very nice and is pulls out and is adjustable for different viewing areas. I would book this room again if available.
