I am writing this review because i live by Cruise Critics reviews prior to booking any cruise. I have been on 8 cruises with Royal Caribbean, 1 with Ncl and now 1 with Carnival. i booked my trip on Carnivals Imagination 2 weeks prior to sail date as a last minute trip for my family, mainly becuase of the price, Carnival was almost $75 cheaper per person as opposed to RCL . I know understand the meaning of you get what you pay for.

Embarkation: Alot less packed or complicated than RCL, walked right in scanned our pass ports and where on the ship in 15 minutes time.

Once on the ship we went to our room which was already available and set down our carry ons. The rooms were alot bigger than i expected, the interior of the ship is outdated but not a big deal, atleast not for us. and the room was spacious enough for my husband, 3 kids and myself. The shower was also big enough to fit two people and plus. So far i was thinking this will be a great trip, the ship is not as pretty as its competition of Majesty of the Seas but it will serve its purpose. Leaving our rooms we went up to the pool deck , the kids were hungry so we waited about 30 minutes in line for hamburgers and fries. i was prepared for this thanks to fellow Cruise Critic members. i advised the whole family that there would not be a big variety of food and the lines would be as bad as waiting for a ride in Disney world. Again i was prepared and thought it to be a small inconvenience.
