This was my first cruise and my husband's 2nd, our first real vacation together since our honeymoon 5 years ago, and our first trip away from our daughter who was 9 months old at the time. Needless to say, we were very excited for the trip.

Upon arrival, we found check-in at the port to be relatively quick & painless. We checked our luggage which later arrived in a timely manner at our room and were very happy with the process. We then explored the ship to figure out our way around. Being a first-time cruiser, I was amazed by the size of the ship and what a beauty it was. After getting settled in in our rooms, we put on our suits and went to the pool. We had a couple of drinks with another young couple. We then headed to the front of the ship to watch as the ship sailed away from port. We then headed to dinner. We were very pleased to be seated at a table of 10 with 4 other young couples. We enjoyed our dinner group very much and always enjoyed getting back to the ship to have dinner with them.

We enjoyed every minute of our cruise thoroughly, felt that all of the employees on the ship were very kind and accommodating, and enjoyed all of the ports. I would say the weakness of the ship was the food which was ok at best. We ate all of our meals in the dining room as we found that we really did not enjoy the food in the windjammer & it was too crowded. On board, we loved the shows - especially the couples show and the 'adults only' show at the night club. We also enjoyed the casino and I loved getting a pedicure at the salon. We did not spend a lot of time on the ship itself as our days were filled with fun at the ports and we did not have any days at sea. Our cruise was at the end of October and the weather was absolutely beautiful, although it was a little warm - particularly on the day that we did not go to the beach.
