I had a fantastic time on Viking to Iceland. Based on that trip I convinced my husband to come along on a trip from Bali to Bangkok.
First, the Viking brand does not translate well to Asia.
Second, the itinerary is, how can I say it nicely…bad. Far too much time spent in ports not good for cruises, far too little in interesting ports. Singapore for 8 hours is beyond too little time considering 2 days in Jakarta.
