My wife and I are repeat Viking Cruisers due to their consistent customer service and excellent value. When we heard that they were building expedition ships, we made a reservation as soon as it was offered. We could not have been more pleased! The experience was one of the best in our lives. From the cabin to the outstanding food/cuisine, and wine and beverage selections we could not be happier.

The ship is also a floating science vessel with daily excursions and the ability to be a scientist for the day. We took part in several landings as well as lectures and activities related to their science requirements. The ship is outfitted with state-of-the-art Mark 5 Zodiacs, submarines, high-end RIB activity vessels and much more.

The fitness and spa are also top-notch. We spent many days in both, and I even enjoyed a haircut and beard trim. The specialty restaurants were nothing short of spectacular with an amazing wine list. If you want to go to the Antarctic, this is the way to do it. Read more
