Overall, the cruise was great (crew, food, expeditions, staff, etc)....my problem is with the room and, more specifically, Lindblad's deceptive advertising that resulted in my girlfriend and i paying around $8000 more for a standard room. Don't be fooled, despite what Lindblad shows on their website, other than suites, all rooms on the ship regardless of "Category" are exactly the same and they can all be configured with one queen bed or two twins. The difference in Category pricing is solely based upon deck level, which on a ship this size, and cruise of this type, is simply not worth it. In our case, we chose a Cat4 room primarily because the room picture on the website was different than all other room pictures and suggested that it was a bigger room....turns out the picture is actually of two rooms. Believe me, if you chose to go on this ship/cruise, do what we wished we'd done and save alot of money by getting the cheapest room available.

Cabin Review

Overpriced! Its a standard room that priced approx $8000 more than the same room (of lower category) located just two decks below it.....which on a ship this size is insignificant!
