This cruise started as a river cruise but it was canceled twice so we opted for an ocean cruise. We heard viking was a notch above the rest which turned out not to be true. The cruise started out of San Juan we paid to transfers to and from the airport and were expecting an agent to meet us at the airport, nobody was there and not we are outside the security zone of the airport had to walk around the outside to get to the other terminal were we flagged down a Viking rep escorting other passengers to the bus. When we got to the cruise terminal it was not organized at all just a mess but we got through it and got on board did our spit in the tube PCR test and were stuck in our room until the test results came back had to order room service for that night. I was expecting better food but was disappointed good but not great. Entertainment on the ship just OK, spa was great, shore excursions were Ok but I was expecting more, one excursion we were suppose to meet a catamaran but it was late had issues picking us up, we were suppose to get lunch but did not eat until 3pm. WE had a day at sea because of a port closure , it was a boring day the ship does not offer much.
This was my first Viking cruise and my last. You pay a premium to cruise with Viking and I did not think it was a very good value for the money I can get better service and food in the Haven on Norwiegen for a lot less money and with all the amenities. Never again
Cabin was good some wear and tare on the furniture, TV offering just OK, bathroom good was expecting more, heated floor was good but not that useful in the Caribbean . It started good with water first couple of days and some small candy but both faded away as the cruise progressed, disappointing
