My husband and I are from the East coast, state of Maine, and wanted to experience more of the West coast as much as possible. We had booked a trip with ACL to Alaska in 2020, along with a train trip at the end, and of course they were cancelled. Did some research and decided on the Puget Sound and San Juan Island Cruise. We were blown away with the different kinds of scenery that we saw each day from the ship and from the land excursions and tours. We did the Columbia/Snake River cruise a few years ago, but this was a different view of the state of WA, and it was well worth it. We did 9 tours and excursions in all, of which the hiking and sea kayaking were the best, I thought. All the crew members including the Captain and his Officers, the Housekeepers, the dining staff and especially the Medical Officer went out of their way to make the cruise as Covid free as possible. There were some "hiccups" due to the covid issue but most of them we didn't even notice or were handled with professionalism and calmness by the crew.

Cabin Review

Cabin AAC

The cabin was a good size for the two of us. We don't spend a lot of time in the cabin, except to sleep and get ready for the next excursion or tour. The ship was a little older than the last couple of ships we had been on so there were a few things a little worn, especially in the bathroom, but everything worked. The room was always cleaned when we asked to have it cleaned.
