Sail Date: Dec 2021

We had sailed with Saga apprx 10 years ago and then went onto other bigger cruise ships, but decided to return to a smaller ship. (No casino and no kids) Saga were exceptionally well organised throughout our pre embarkation. Always keeping us informed and constantly updating us especially on their Covid protocol. Saga offered us free chauffeur, free insurance, all inclusive (yes alright i know it really is all included in the price) but for peace of mind it was well worth it. We were picked up on time with full Covid measures Even our driver had Covid tests (Saga policy). Upon arrival at Southampton there was full Covid measures and very efficient it was. Once onboard we had been upgraded as previous passengers. Our ship was as good as damn it brand new and our cabin (C049) was superb. Our steward Ed was superb throughout the cruise.

The entertainment was pretty good with a couple of acts not that great, but overall considering the size of the stage it was pretty good. For us there were two highlights. One the ventrilequist and two Chris [part of the entertainments group) led by Tracy. He was given the opportunity to sing in the Britannia lounge and was exceptional. A talent that needs to be used.

The excursions that were included were very good although we did not used the one in Lisbon as we had been there many times.

Cabin Review
