My wife and I have been very fortunate to have experienced very many 6* all-inclusive cruises including Seabourn, Regent, Sea Dream, Hebridean International and Silversea among others. We have sailed with SAGA Rose on 3 occasions in the past and were now very keen to sample SAGA’s new ships booking on Spirit of Discovery while the vessel was still undergoing construction. The 14-night cruise to Madeira, the Canary Is and Lisbon was cancelled/postponed a number of times but eventually went ahead on 21st November from Southampton.

The booking was easy and SAGA’s staff went out of their way to make us feel special and provide the very best service we have ever experienced from a holiday/cruise company. The travel insurance, including our pre-existing conditions, was included in addition to private Mercedes limousine collecting us from home to Southampton docks and return.

The all-balcony cruise was all-inclusive, including all food and beverages, shuttle busses and some free tours ashore.
