This was a great cruise for our first time cruising. We chose this ship because it is smaller and we were not interested in a larger ship with 4000-5000 people. The ship was very clean and comfortable and had plenty of indoor places to get a way from other people. the crowd. The embarkation and disembarkation were smooth and went much faster than I had anticipated. On embarkation day we kept our luggage with us, and they allowed us to store it in the Bliss lounge until our room has ready at 1:30.Our cabin was clean and spacious enough for 2 people. We were in Cabin 8071 with a balcony which was great. There was plenty of storage. The bed was a little hard but overall comfortable. Our steward was friendly and very accommodating.

The food and service was great in the main dining room and 2 specialty restaurants we tried, Le Bistro and Cagneys. The buffet was average for a buffet anywhere. It had plenty of choices and the lines were never too long. We ate most of our breakfasts and lunches in the main dining room, because we preferred the level of service and menu choices offered at that location. We had the drink package and most of the drinks were good. The service at the bars was average. It was hard to get the attention of a few bartenders even when no other customers were waiting.

The nightly entertainment was varied, with something for everyone. We went to the shows in the Stardust Lounge every night and found them to be entertaining and well produced. The casino was extremely smokey and we did not spend any time there for that reason.

Port Reviews

Key West

It was crowded in Key West. We walked around on our own and then visited the Mel Fischer museum which was very interesting. Would have like more time there.
