Because we wanted to visit Alaska for the first time, cruise was nice but I would definitely switch Anchorage or Sitka for Victoria, we arrived at 7 PM and left at 11:30 PM, it was dark and not a chance to visit anything. Another Alaskan port wouod be way better and less expensive excursion too, $130 train trip to nowhere and could not go down, beautiful scenery but poor excursion, but anyway me and my wife were looking for relax and that's what we've found, but I will definitely go back to Alaska again with a different itinerary if possible. Stateroom service was excellent, food quality in the cruise standards, staff very friendly, some services could be handle better, like make a call to find a different flight or arrange a pick up. We had an open dining and was the best choice, we usually don't eat very early as we like to enjoy the onboard entertainments. Overall Princess is the best cruise line in a matter of service and quality of the ships, unfortunately we cannot change the quality of the people ( passengers) lots of them rude, grumpy and with bad habit like fill a plate full of food and then leave half of it, waste waste waste or touch the food and place it back at rhe buffet,...disgusting and maybe they did not even wash their hands. What really made me upset was that on formal nights lots of people were dressing like they go to the beach!!!! Formal night....it is FORMAL....use a dress/ suit it's an occasion to dress nicely once in a while but some don't get it.....
