I set out to provide an accurate review of the beautiful Carnival Destiny that was not biased nor tried to sway cruise guests to a decision about what ship to take. This review is simply my experience with a few of my opinions. It seems long, enjoy your read. If you would like a condensed version, scroll to the bottom.

Personally, this was my 10th overall cruise (7th with Carnival).

When it was time for a vacation for a group of six people, we called up Carnival Cruise lines. Two couples: Myself and my wonderful girlfriend of five years (in our middle 20's, 7th cruise together), two of our great friends ages 27 and 24, and another couple in their early thirties embarked on our "Date with Destiny" in Miami. We made the ten hour drive from South Carolina the day before and arrived at the Port of Miami around 12pm.

Cabin Review

Cabin OV

We had a great location just behind the forward elevator bank. Carnival managed to book our three rooms together even after a guaranteed reservation for all three. The room itself was larger than I expected. The sofa was great and provided more space. The closet and drawer space was more than enough. The bathroom was smaller than the Fantasy class, but it served the purpose.
