We booked a last minute deal through travel agent. We were drawn to this cruise because of the free drink package. Overall, this was a good cruise. I was not very impressed by the ship or the amenities. Only about half of the staff was friendly and greeted us as we walked past them. The muster drill was extremely disorganized. The man in charge of our section had a hard time communicating with the guests. He yelled at us to be quiet. There was no explanation as to what was going on, or what to expect. There were many first time cruisers, who were confused and frustrated. Embarkation and debarkation was very smooth and efficient except at Port Canaveral, where the lady at the counter did not know how to check me in with an Alien Registration card. This caused for a slight delay of about 20 minutes. She also put my name on my wife's card and vice versa. The food was mediocre and the dining room staff were like robots. They were not very cheerful and made us feel like we were bothering them. RCCL staff always rolls out the red carpet for their guests. Bottom line, Norwegian Cruise Line is missing the WOW factor.
Clean, attendant was very friendly and attentive. No towel animals due to costs to cruise line? Ridiculous!
Nice beach. Still under construction. Food selection was decent.
Bahamians are not very friendly. They behave like vultures and get angry when you don't spend money with them.
The check in process was frustrating. The lady that checked us in didn't know how to proceed with my Alien Registration card. This caused a slight delay of about 20 minutes.
