My first experience on the cruise was excellent. The staff all over was great, especially Maria in the Tucano lounge. The theatre was fantastic and entertainment staff was great! My favourite was the transfers to and from the islands. We however had a few niggly irritations. We opted for easy on board, but after exiting the immigration officer a bottleneck occurred just before we boarded the ship. This is the section where the pictures were taken. A space needs to be created for passengers to go through who isn't interested in taking pictures. The other issue was that some passengers on the ship had no manners and was unruly. This occurred daily. It is advisable to have staff behind the counters at the buffet section on the ship and on the islands where the dishing of the food can be controlled. At the buffet section on deck 13.. People were dishing stacked plates of food which left the rest of us only with pizza, burgers, chips and hot dogs. On the Portuguese island we didn't get any meat only a piece of sausage...people were walking with plates stacked with meat and thereafter we would see the untouched wasted meat. The restaurant was fantastic. I loved the fine dining, however we waited too long in between courses and this occurred the whole week. The luggage at disembarkation needs to be more controlled as it was chaos...My review is to make MSC aware on how to make the experience enjoyable for everyone. Lastly I would recommend the cruise to anyone as it was a great overall experience.
