We wanted to try Viking Ocean Cruise since we've done two Viking river cruises. When we checked itineraries, our first choice was the Panama Canal but it wasn't available when we were looking. So we decided on Caribbean to the Amazon. We loved the ship, the number of sea days and most of the ports. We weren't as thrilled with the Amazon as we'd hoped but really enjoyed the Caribbean ports. Restaurants were fabulous especially The Restaurant. The World Cafe wasn't my favorite but my husband and our friends liked the healthy choices. The best entertainment was the magician, Greg Moreland and the singer, Salvatore Hansard. For a 21 day cruise, we think there should have been more special entertainment. There was a Brazilian singer too which was ok. The house band was excellent, especially the piano/trumpet player! We also loved San Juan Puerto Rico and would go back there again. We stayed at the La Concha Renaissance resort on a pre cruise. Beautiful hotel.
