We originally choose this cruise because of a great blackfriday deal in 2017. We had 18 people counting down the days for this vacation .From embarkation the staff was rude and the check in process chaotic. Once on the boat we headed to the bar which was more chaos and rude colleagues. We were understanding to the fact there were of 4,000 people boarding all wanting to start vacation. Little did we know this was just the start of the awful and extremely slow service. The specialty dining was a nice change from the mediocre food from the buffet but again slow but the staff was not so cranky. We loved the sushi restaurant but the service was so slow we left hungry. You did get free sake if you have the beverage package-win. Tappenyaki was delish and the friendliest staff on the boat. My husband gave me a budget of $200 for photography.. I tend to go a little crazy. Lucky for him we had to track down photographers and ended up only get one picture. I was very disappointed again with this staff. Felt like we were bothering them to take our photos. Also had to reserve a slot for our large group ($100) to be able to take a group photo. I understand maybe having the reservation for 18 people but $100? We had an amazing vacation spending alot of the time in the pub playing darts or on the water slides. We caught most of the comedy shows and loved them. Paid to do the wine musical and was well worth the money.

Our ages ranged from 17 to 80, we were celebrating 2 birthdays and introducing many to cruising for the first time. Those of us who have cruised before was all of our first time on Norwegian and none will cruise again with them. A smile or a "i'll be right with you" goes a long way and isn't asking for much.

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

We did a snorkel tour that was fun. The port itself was over rated and ended up back on the ship shortly after.
