Fancied a short cruise, not been to the two places the Ship was calling at. Zeebrugge for Bruge or the Menin Gate. Amsterdam.
Chose the Menin Gate and Tyne Cot Cemetery. Very very moving to see so many Grave Stones, puts life into perspective.
Due to high winds the Ship couldn’t dock at Amsterdam. Captain decided to call at Cherbourg. Not a great place to call at, but at short notice it was ok.
The Ship was emaculate, there was always a member of Staff cleaning the toilets and surrounding areas.
We chose the 8.45 evening sitting. Choice of Menue was first Class and of good quality. Staff very attentive.
Good choice of food for breakfast.
Now for the entertainment. Superb, I believe as good as any West End Show. In particular Mr Pinkertons Clock Circus. The Costumes, the special effects, outstanding. Singing world class.
In fact the Show was that good the theatre gave the performers a standing ovation.
Gary Barlow look alike so good he had the women up dancing
Couldn’t ask for more. Cabin was of good size. Plenty of Wardrobe space. Tea, Coffee, biscuits supplied. Tea and coffee continually refilled.
Toiletries were from the White Company.
Cabin service second to none. Spotless .
Bearing in mind travelled with Royal Caribbean. PO knocked spots off them.
Always wanted to visit WW1 cemetery. Oportunity to Vist Tyne Cot, and the Menin Gate. Pity the Ship was scheduled to leave before we could experience the Last Post being played at the Menin Gate. Our guide was excellent very passionate about history of the battles that happened in the area. This is a trip I would recommend.

This was the alternative to Amsterdam. The Ship managed to Dock even though the wind was still gusting. Not a great choice but it was short notice and PO Did organise free shuttle Bus.
