Before embarking onto MSC Seaside, we decided to stay at South Beach and check out some sites. What a great idea, we enjoyed time on the beach and great dinners. Our hotel provided bikes and we took a stroll to see some exciting sites around.
We Ubered from South Beach to Terminal F, since this was our first cruise we had no idea what to expect. We really felt the process of checking in and boarding the ship was very easy. It flowed without a hitch, before we knew if we had our welcome drink in our hands with a smile on our faces.
I cannot say enough about the buffets and the evening dinners. The food was fabulous everywhere. The buffets were always full of food and the choices were plentiful. Dinners in the dinning room was elegant and the food was delicious. Service was outstanding, by the second day, our server, James was calling us by our first names. The attention to detail and us was exceptional.
Our cabin was very spacious and very clean. We had a king size bed with a couch a large desk area with a large flat screen tv. It was larger than some hotel rooms we've stayed in before. I had heard that the storage was limited so I went prepared. It was a smaller closet for two people so I brought a hanging storage organizer and an over the door shoe organizer for all our stuff and it worked out perfectly. Our steward, Jasmine, made our cruise amazing. She introduced herself to us on day one, she told us that she was there for us and if we needed anything to let her know. And she was right, for example, I asked how to get ice and she made sure it was in our room in the afternoon and in the evening for our whole cruise. She came to our room twice a day and tidied the room and cleaned the bathroom.
