This is my first cruise. I am from Colorado so I am used to mountains and dry climate. Taking a cruise surrounded by water was like being transported to another planet. I loved it!
I must say that traveling by ship has many advantages, I only had to unpack once and I felt at home. I travel solo and it was nice making friends on the ship. The food was incredible and the servers are awesome. I was treated to a five star dinning experience every night. The many different dinning options are great as well. I saw several shows, an excellent comedian, and a funny Magician. The onboard activities range from the silly to serious.
My trip included two items on my bucket list Havana Cuba and Chichen Itza (Cozumel) Havana was everything I imagined and more, too much too see in one trip. I went to the Tropicana and that was very amazing well worth the money. Chichen Itza is a shore trip from Cozumel I took the airplane option, it costs more but was worth the money, it was faster, we got there before it got crowded, and before it got overly hot. The by air option only took four hours total opposed to eight by bus so I got to spend time in Cozumel. I learned a lot, relaxed some, and most importantly I had a great time!
Cabin was perfect size my window was perfect and great to watch sunset from. I must give a shout out to the fantastic stewards who kept my cabin perfect.
I took the tour of the spice farm. I thought it was very informative and it was nice to get off the Caye and actually see some of the country of Belize.
Please take an excursion to the beach don't walk around the town. Locals bug you every minute and follow you around.
I took the bus transfer offered by Norwegian it was pretty simple once I found it in the airport.
