We liked the ports and the smaller ship. This ship had everything I like about cruising and none of the things I don't like. The crew was wonderful! Both speciality restaurants were very good and loved the dining room. There were many options for meals all day. The spa is well equipped and services very high quality. No shops trying to sell ship products. The casual dress code makes packing much easier. Scandinavian decor and Viking artifacts are subtle and beautiful. No casino or loud music is is a plus. We have booked two more cruises. Both of our future cruises will be on new ships. I have and will continue to recommend Viking to our friends. We have been on many ocean cruises and this was by far our favorite. We liked Viking so much that we have booked our first river cruise. We liked our cabin so much that on our next ocean cruise we booked the same cabin, we really liked the location.
