Simon London (Cruise Director) was awesome! We must have met and spoke with Simon more than a dozen times during the cruise. Simon seemed to be everywhere at one time. One minute we would be watching a show that he was hosting, and before we could even exit to the next event, he would already be there with a different change of wardrobe and entertaining an entirely different event. We joked the entire cruise that he either had a twin or a double that would stand in for him. We took many pictures with him and anytime that he saw us, he would walk through the crowd of people to come greet us and ask us how our day was going. He always informed us of the upcoming events and we even connected with him through the chat feature on the Carnival Hub App. It was so great and funny that he would respond to us through chat as there were literally thousands of people on the ship and he would take time out of his extremely busy schedule to chat with us.

Captain Alessandro Lemmi was the most gracious of all hosts. We were first in line to meet him for the Captains Toast. Upon having our pictures taken, we made a very special yet unusual request. Captain briefly considered and obliged with a formal invitation to something that was beyond anything that we could have imagined that would happen. On our last sea day, we were invited by the captain to spend time with him and spent close to an hour with him. This is a memory that we will never forget. Captain Lemme was so regal and eloquent with us and is a true gentleman. We discussed his hometown in Italy and he was very interested in our hometown in Louisiana. We discussed his very successful career in the Italian Navy, as an officer with LPG Tankers, and now his tremendous position as Captain with Carnival Cruise Lines. Captain Lemmi is most certainly what made our trip as special as it was. We cannot hold him to a higher regard and compliment his graciousness, kindness, professionalism and being an amazing host in general.

Moises Clarena (Guest Services Manager) was excellent, he was very accommodating and stopped by to check on us whenever he saw us out and about. We very much enjoyed his hospitality and professionalism. Every time we saw Moises, he knew who we were, would ask us how our day was and ask if there was anything that he could do for us. He is an excellent person and host and is a true professional that does a great job.

Cabin Review

Aft-View Extended Balcony

Cabin 8N

Cabin was great. Plenty of room for my wife and I. Very clean. Lots of closet space. Suitcases fit perfectly under bed. More room in bathroom than we expected. This was an Aft Balcony and the view was phenomenal! Our best friends booked the room right next door in 8439. We did not know until we were on the ship these two rooms had a balcony partition door that could be unlocked. The steward was great and had it unlocked quickly. This was awesome because when we were in the rooms, we could just walk through each others balcony doors without ever having to use key cards. This essentially made the balcony twice as large because we utilized both balconies.
