Spectacular views, OK staff, but terrible, stingy organization.
Truly irritating experience booking excursions. The agents constantly referred us to the online info. However, the online information was wrong, and had been wrong since before it was published online. We recommend you verify any of your important assumptions with a human, even if you have to push them to great confirmation from management in Norway.
The incorrect information led us to choose to travel in the more expensive summer season. When we complained we got the standard "tough luck" answers. However, we continue to push and eventually got a substantial on board credit. Hurtigruten never actually told us about it, so we didn't discover this until the last night when we got our bill. If we hadn't chosen to book excursions on the ship, the credit would have expired unused.
Small but well organized and we didn't spend much time in it, other than sleeping
