My husband and I are cruise junkies. The Norwegian Sun was our 16th cruise. We had never sailed with Norwegian before so we were kinda excited to try something different. So let me go over the positives first. This cruise was def the easiest and fastest embarkation and departure ever. We were on and off in no time. Loved that, no long lines. We checked in at 11:30. Walked right up to the check in desk and were on the boat within minutes. Went ahead and put on our suits and went to the pool.

Another positive, is this one had the open bar already included with the price. You didn't have to worry about using your card, or signing a receipt every time you wanted to get a drink. Also, the muster station drill was alot faster than most. We get aggravated at that process usually because we have been on so many cruises, we know what to do and some can last alot longer than others. So that was a nice change.

Our room was also awesome. I was nervous to do the "GURANTEED" room where they pick your room. I didn't know where we would end up. It was cheaper that route so I thought I would try it and see how it worked out. We got lucky and got put in a Handicap room which was awesome. We did book closer to the cruise so that may be the only room that was available. I wasn't complaining as it gave us a bigger room (interior) and the bathroom was ALOT bigger. Read more
