The destinations were very good despite the rain. We had never been to the Carribean before so did not know what to expect. Excursions organised by the ship were ok if pricey. Entertainment and food were ok but a bit repetitive (3 of the 5 shows were the same as experienced eighteen months earlier). Remember to take an umbrella or lightweight waterproof as you may well get the full rain forest experience as we did. All destinations accepted US dollars but did seem to round all the prices up i.e. 5 dollars for a fridge magnet!!
. I chose this cruise as it was sold as being adults only. Tropical delights ,April 2018. Two days before embarking I received an email saying a mistake had been made and the cruise would have children on board. Not a problem, so I thought, until I found our cabin, junior suite so not cheap, was next to one with small children who's constant noise made the overall cruise experience very disappointing. This was logged on board and advised to customer services on return. The response from tui was that it had not been advertised as adults only even though their email confirmed that it had. I would like to add that we have previously taken several cruises with Thompson and the crew are exceptional however I now feel tui are only after your money and do not care once they have this. Buyer beware. Even with written proof tui will not admit they are wrong and certainly will not say sorry.
Cabin size was good. Cabin facilities a little lacking i.e. Toiletries not replenished as often as needed with out asking. No coffee pods on board for the coffee machine. Charged for water which should have been included in services. No real benefit for paying the additional cost to that of a balcony cabin.
