There were great ports of call on the short mediteranean cruise. The balcony cabin was great and room attendant did good job. But the "great" stops there!! Two booked shore excursions were cancelled with less than a day notice and no attempt was made to try to offer an alternative arrangement for us. Generally the crew were unresponsive to our requests and enquiries and rudely answered back instead of trying to address the issues we had. Overall the level of service on this ship was unacceptable and not what we have enjoyed with many other cruise companies. The "fine dining" meals were mediocre at best and the buffet was not much better for quality and any personal service. Except for the serenity of our cabin, the interesting ports of call and meeting a few nice travellers this cruise (ship) was one to forget! We will not be cruising with any MSC again.
